Nestled in the hills of Orinda, this custom home was designed with calm, comfort, and connection in mind. The clients wanted a space that felt relaxed yet refined — a neutral backdrop for everyday life, family gatherings, and effortless entertaining. The heart of the home is the kitchen — designed for a true home chef, with thoughtful details, generous prep space, and clean lines throughout. It anchors the open-plan layout, which flows easily into light-filled living and dining areas. Every room reflects a quiet sophistication: layered textures, natural materials, and a restrained palette that lets the architecture breathe.
This project is all about livability. It’s a home that feels fresh but not fussy — a serene, well-edited environment made for real life, and beautiful in its simplicity.
